Errol Motel Policies

Check-in time is 2:00 PM. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. To allow time to clean and prepare the property for your enjoyment, we are unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs.

Office Hours – 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. If you need to check-in later than 8:00 PM, please call and make arrangements by 2:00 PM on the day of check-in.

Reservation and Cancellation Procedures:

  • Reservations require a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. We welcome group reservations but ask that you have all members confirm and pay their deposit to hold a room.
  • No refunds for early departures or late arrivals. Refunds will not be issued due to weather.
  • 2-night minimum on Friday/Saturday nights during ATV and snowmobile season. 3-night minimum on National holidays.
  • Trained service animals are welcome in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Guests are encouraged to let us know in advance if they will be traveling with a service animal, so we can better prepare for their stay. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not permitted outside of designated pet-friendly rooms.
    • More than one service animal may be permitted if each is required because of a disability and trained to perform a different task. Limitations may apply based on room size, occupancy limits, and safety considerations. 
    • Service animals must remain under the handler’s control at all times and may not be left unattended in the room. 
    • Service animals must be leashed, harnessed, or tethered at all times while on the property, unless doing so interferes with the animal’s work or the handler’s disability prevents its use. In those cases, the animal must remain under effective control at all times. 
    • Be sure to clean-up after your service animal – waste bags are available if needed.
    • To keep our rooms fresh and cozy for everyone, we ask that service animals stay off the furniture.
  • We also offer two designated pet-friendly (dogs only) rooms (Room 1 and Room 11), subject to availability. Dogs must be announced when making your reservation. Failure to do so means your reservation will be cancelled upon check-in. 2 dog maximum. $15 fee.
    • Dogs may not be left unattended in the room.
    • All dogs must be leashed and under control of an adult.
    • Be sure to clean-up after your dog – waste bags are available if needed.
    • To keep our rooms fresh and cozy for everyone, we ask that dogs stay off the furniture.
  • Owning to our small size, cancellations significantly affect us. Any changes to your original reservation must be made 72 hours prior to the reservation arrival date. If changes are not made prior to the 72 hours, you will be charged for the full original reservation. Cancellations must be done over the phone, no email cancellations.
  • For extra vehicle parking, please see management. We have limited extra parking spaces, so please consider consolidating vehicles when possible.

We are proud to be a privately owned and operated property and are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests. For everyone’s comfort and security, please note:

  • Management reserves the right to decline service.
  • While we do our best to ensure a safe stay, the Errol Motel is not responsible for accidents, injuries, damage to vehicles, or loss of valuables.
  • Any instances of theft or vandalism will be reported to local authorities, and violators held responsible for damages.
  • Anyone causing a disturbance or violating motel rules will be asked to leave immediately. NO refunds.
  • Guests are responsible for damage to property. No rugs, tarps, tents etc., permitted on grass areas. No vehicles on grass areas.
  • To help keep our walkways safe and enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask that Motorcycles, ATVs, and Snowmobiles be parked in designated areas only—not on the walkways. If you need to clean your vehicle, we are happy to provide special towels designed for that purpose. Room towels are reserved for personal use and using them for vehicles will result in a charge.
  • No vehicle washing on premises.
  • While Errol is a hunting and fishing community, please clean and dispose of remains off of property.

Motel Rooms

  • Rooms 1-8, 10, and 11 have a maximum occupancy of 2 adults / 2 children age 10 and under. For safety purposes, cots, air mattresses or other sleeping surfaces are not allowed, with the exception of a portable crib. A child in a portable crib counts towards the 2-child maximum.
  • Room 9 has a maximum occupancy of 2 adults. For safety purposes, cots, air mattresses or other sleeping surfaces are not allowed.
  • Please let us know if additional towels or toiletries are needed.
  • Leave key in room on day of departure.
  • Efficiencies – Dishes are provided for your convenience. Please wash dishes prior to checkout.
  • All the rooms at the Errol Motel are smoke-free (including tobacco, vape, marijuana). If smoke is detected there is a $250 cleaning fee. We have provided smoking receptacles outside rooms for your convenience. Please make sure your door is closed while you are smoking as the smoke may travel into your room.

We are dedicated to making your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible—all while keeping our rates affordable. To help us stay eco-friendly and continue offering great value, we kindly ask that you:

  • Keep doors closed.
  • Turn down the heat when you head out.
  • Switch off lights and the TV when the room is not in use.

Privacy Policy

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

Security Policy

Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so it cannot be read over the internet.

This property is privately owned. The guest accepts use privileges with the understanding that she/he does hereby release the facility, its officers and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to her/his person arising out of use of the facility, and agrees to indemnify the facility, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered guest arising out of the use of the facilities.
